Kenny Ballou is an Assistant Professor of Software Engineering at Cal State University San Marcos. He teaches courses on software engineering as well as theoretical computer science. His research interests lie at the intersection between formal methods and software engineering. Kenny has extensive industry experience working as a software developer and recently as a site reliability engineer. He is an advocate for functional programming languages and the author of "Learning Elixir".
