I build systems that talk to each other: open-source tools for AI assistants and self-hosting.
Descripció
I build systems that talk to each other, mostly open-source tools that let AI assistants work with laws, notes and documents. I live in Kempten in the Allgäu, Germany.
By day I help teams improve their software quality; I studied Games Engineering at TU Munich and specialised in AI and robotics in my master's.
Most of these tools start with a problem of my own. I wanted my AI assistant to work with my notes, so I wrote trilium-mcp, followed by MCP servers for Paperless-ngx and Invoice Ninja, a Claude Code plugin for Trilium and a sync from Karakeep that turns saved articles into notes. notefeed grew out of the wish for a simple inbox for Markdown notes that you can post to from anywhere and read as RSS.
Gesetze für KI is the first one built for everyone else: it gives AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT the full text of current German federal law, so they look things up instead of quoting from memory. It's free, needs no sign-up and shows no ads.
My own tools run at home on a small Proxmox server. The public services, notefeed and Gesetze für KI, run on servers I rent at Hetzner in Germany and pay for myself. Almost all of it is open source; you'll find everything at marcelbruckner.de/projekte.
If one of these projects is useful to you, you can support it through its team below. A contribution is voluntary support, not a tax-deductible donation, and it changes nothing about the projects: they stay the same for everyone.
