I campaign to reform the leasehold system of property tenure in the UK and the similar system of "fleecehold" for houses on private estates.

In particular, I help individual leaseholders (and groups of them) to deal with the interaction between company law and landlord-tenant law. Day to day, much of the behaviour of property managers is determined by whether or not they're accountable to the owners of the flats and houses whose common parts they manage, and that accountability comes down to how well the owners can use their rights under the Companies Act. I can help with that - I've been a company director most of my adult life.

I assist those campaigning to pressure Members of Parliament to support the reform, and ultimately the complete phase-out of both leasehold and fleecehold.

I can only give opinion, not advice: I'm not a lawyer. I studied law at University of Cambridge, but my career has been in software engineering and the non-profit sector.
