I am Ashta-deb, I teach Mental Health Awareness using a variety of techniques that can be a group session or specific to the individual:

Years of Yoga and meditation has gifted me with an ability to understand and put into words the pains of another. I am an Empath Healer, Registered Hypnotist and Reiki Master.

I personally know what it is like to wait for a government service at a time you need someone immediately to talk to. Waiting can mean the difference between life and death.

I recall sitting in the Psychiatrist office and having a complete meltdown during a painful session. At that time, I nor any doctor knew I was suffering from PTSD. I stared blankly at the doctor as the tears rolled in torrents down my cheeks,

“Your hour is up; we will have to continue this at your next session.” The Psychiatrist abruptly ended the session.

I stumbled out of his office that day feeling so lonely, so lost. I vowed with conviction that day if I ever had the ability to help others, I would never watch the time and I would never let money stand in the way of me helping them. I had waited months through government services for that appointment.

Fast forward to 2021, I have the ability to help others;

• I have been helping them, • Very few of them have the ability to pay me, • And now I find myself in dire straits to support myself and continue the donation based and free work I have been doing.

At the age of fifty-seven, social media has been such a challenge for me. I have learned to build my website, email, texting, edit and make videos. I came from a day when there was no TV to now cell phones. I feel lost in a world that has changed before my very eyes. What has not changed is poverty. Poverty of the have-nots, poverty of those trying to help the have-nots and poverty of those who don’t know they have.

My dream was to one day open a healing center. I have shelfed that dream in exchange for just helping myself and others each day and one person at a time.
